[MHN Roh Pooleun] Girls' Generation member Seohyun and U-Kiss' Jun have been cast in the Netflix movie 'Moral Sense' (working title).
Based on the webtoon Moral Sense, the sex-themed romantic comedy tells the story of a man with an unusual sexual preference for women and a woman who knows his secret.
This is the first time that Seohyun has taken a lead role in a film. She'll be playing female lead role Jung Ji Woo who develops a romantic relationship with her co-worker after accidentally learning about his 'secret taste' by opening up his mail to discover his preference. Actor Lee Jun Young (Jun), a member of K-pop boy band U-KISS will play opposite her as Jung Ji Hoo.
Though it's first time for Seohyun to star in a movie, she was featured in several TV series so far. She made her small screen debut in 2014 with the SBS soap opera 'Passionate Love' and has since appeared in several works including the MBC drama 'Bad Thief Good Thief' (2017) and Netflix series 'Private Lives' (2020) and 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo' (2016).
The movie will be released on Netflix and the release date isn't confirmed yet.
